The first Jacques Hnizdovsky woodcut, rescued from the ravages of war by a member of the Polish Underground. This woodcut was printed by Jacques Hnizdovsky, but was left and forgotten at his art studio. There was no time for the artist to sign the small edition of 50 woodcuts.
