Flowers
Hnizdovsky spent almost every Sunday at the botanical gardens of New York City, sketching all day. Hnizdovsky's wife’s garden in New York City had a large collection of flowers and trees, and he could be seen on his small triangular stool sitting in the garden for hours. It is well known among Hnizdovsky's friends and collectors, that all floral bouquets that came into the house whether as gifts, or whether arranged by his wife and placed onto the table, would quickly disappear into Hnizdovsky's art studio, never being seen on the dining room table for more than a few minutes.
