Life and Death, 1944, the first Jacques Hnizdovsky woodcut, rescued from the ravages of war from his master student art studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. This print shows the great influence of Dürer's work on the artist. The entire edition was printed by Hnizdovsky, but he had no time to sign the prints. The edition has been signed and numbered by the Hnizdovsky Estate™, as instructed by the president of the IFPDA.
