Card Players, 1953, original Jacques Hnizdovsky limited edition woodcut, hand printed, signed and numbered by the artist. Card Players shows the great influence of Dürer's work on the artist. Although this woodcut was printed by Hnizdovsky in 1953, we believe it was created during his years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, or at the Displaced Persons Camp in Weyarn, Germany.
